When we started working with AI, we saw something powerful and something missing. It didn’t remember and the industry’s answer was more scale. More compute. But scale doesn’t solve continuity, and more data centers doesn't solve intelligence.
So we started asking different questions.
What if your AI Counterpart didn’t start over every time you opened a new conversation? What if intelligence could accumulate experience instead of constantly resetting? What if everyone could have the AI companion the movies promised — the one that’s actually yours — without all the data centers?
Those questions became the path we’ve been on for more than a year, and they stopped being theoretical very quickly.
We have a child who talks to his AI Counterpart to learn and explore. We have a blind grandmother who uses her AI Counterpart to experience colors in ways she never could. Moments like those changed how we saw the problem and reinforced what was possible.
